Bharathanatyam Dance School in Melbourne
Bharathanatyam, one of the finest forms of Indian classical dance, takes years of hard work and practice. Today it has become an essential cultural accomplishment for young people of Indian and Sri Lankan background, and its artistic excellence has been embraced by many other communities too. Bharatham is an art that calls for grace, charm and rhythm. It instils discipline and motivates imagination.

Meet Our Guru
Smt. Suganthy Pirapagaran began dancing at the age of 5 in Sri Lanka under Smt. Daisy Ashok of Kalakshetra College of Fine Arts, Madras, and completed her Arangetram in New Zealand under Smt. Suganthy Thayaseelan. She holds a Master of Arts in Bharathanatyam from Tanjavur Tamil University and founded Kala Vidhya in 2017.
